To celebrate the 50th year of the Spirit of ’76 Museum, the 100th year of A.M. Willard’s death and the 200th year for the Village of Wellington, the museum has on loan until the end of October 23 Willard paintings to include two “Spirit of ’76” works of art from the Dan Zivko collection. The Fife used in the painting of the Spirit of ’76 has been loaned to us by Rebecca Duelley and the museum has the drum used by Freeman Greene and then by Rev. Samuel Willard to poise for the painting on display. The museum is three floors of wonderful artifact from Southern Lorain County.
